I'd like to put together a large convoy to show our support for our Law Enforcement officers. Could we make it the longest 4x4 parade in the world? The Record is 3,529 4x4's if you're wondering.

IF everyone stayed in their rigs, no social distancing dictatorship laws would be broken.

We'd have to do it outside of major cities I'd think as we'd get over 50 rigs?

Fantastic idea!
When & where?
Outside major city would the impact be the same? Unless we used the interstate, each rig flying a thin blue line flag and an American flag?

No idea how much a permit for something like this costs but maybe do half the fee to go towards the permit and the other half like you said go towards funds for law enforcement?
Ryan could we do an event fee to cover the cost of the permit? Make it so the fee has to be paid ahead of time?

Out of the big cities because then we need a parade permit once we reach X number of rigs.

While popular, the blue line in the flag appears to be a violation of 4 U.S. Code § 8.Respect for flag - (g)The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature. Also, it shouldn't be on a pole with anything else - (i)The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard. Advertising signs should not be fastened to a staff or halyard from which the flag is flown.

So US flags on poles, hell ya! then maybe banners or something for the officers stuff?

Could maybe raise funds for The Wisconsin Law Enforcement Officers Association is a non-profit organization consisting of members of your local Law Enforcement agencies and related career fields, dedicated to serving our communities. https://www.wleoa.com/donate/

As an idea? or maybe we just do the parade...

Trying to raise awareness and funds is a great idea. Not sure how feasible it is right now. Unless maybe an entry fee for each rig? Then have each individual responsible for more donations if possible?

I would never fly any other flag on the same pole as the American flag.

I'll try and find some info I read about flags that are used as advertising or promotional use don't fall under the same rules as you posted above.

Sounds like fun! Most of you guys are a pretty far distance away from us but I’ll see what we can do to join.
