Putting together a waterfall tour on June 19th,20th and 21st 2020 in north east Wisconsin.Any input would be welcome as far as number of people attending people that would like to camp or people that would like to motel.
Good news. Marinette county has open their campgrounds as of June 1st. We will be staying at Morgan County Park off of hwy 141 and Morgan park rd. B56D161D-E6F0-4962-820D-B448FA605AD1.jpeg

This sounds like a fun event and interested. My wife and I would probably motel it for the night.

I am very interested - this is the reference I have used in the past to visit falls in Marinette, County.

Most of them are associated with parks like 12 and and 8 foot falls or Strong's Fall in Goodman Park. Others have trails with 18 foot falls probably the "rockiest" and Long Slide the steepest though following the marked portion of the trail gets you to the bottom. Parks will require a day sticker $3.00.

The route to various waterfalls can be done on mostly on fire roads if you plan, though some hops would be faster via Hwy 8 or 141. Some info I have used in the past to locate the falls (all are now very well marked with forestry signs)

What camp site are you on? Do you know if there are any left? The wedding has been postponed, so Dan and I may be able to make it. :p

Maybe our group can meet up with your group. We'll be camping at MC Caslin Mountain up there exploring trails. It would rock if you had ham radio with APRS. I'll have my signal on which can be viewed on http://www.aprs.fi look for KD9NOB.

Just an update on the trip my campsite is now switched to campsite number seven we will be leaving camp at 9 AM on Saturday for the tour. For those of you not camping there will be grills and RVs available to cook in if you can’t find restaurants open or don’t care to go to a restaurant.
