Mike Breunig reacted to this post about 5 days agoComing down to the wire here, it'll be great to see everyone! Getting ready to ride! If you don't have your ticket via email, you should be able to print your tickets from here https://rl4wd.com/event/tickets/tickets-bought/mytickets so you have a record of it.
Please also print the vehicle checklist off as you can take more time to look over your vehicle at home. Checklist and waivers will be on site otherwise, but you can print them, read them, ask questions etc. here - https://rl4wd.com/trails/waiver
It is so super helpful if you have a CB, HAM, or Family Talk Radio in your rig so we can communicate (CB preferred by most). Something like this can be found at most box stores - https://amzn.to/2VIvCMM Midland 75-822 40 Channel CB-Way Radio if you don't want to mount a CB in your rig.
Automotive fire extinguishers are also very important. Try and get one mounted within reach of the driver. If this isn't your first event, we're going to start cracking down on this requirement.
Lastly, have a tow strap... one with loops, not hooks... like this - Poison Spyder 3 inch X 30 ft from Jeeps Are Life - https://jeepsarelife.com/poison-spyder-57-63-515-3in-x-30ft-recovery-strap which again, you can get something like this just about anywhere, but do not get one with hooks on it.
Any questions let us know! We're here to answer any concerns you may have! Our trail rides are not the "sink your rig into many feet of mud" type events. We crawl Go4Low style, so log into the site and download the trail maps and see images and reviews here - https://rl4wd.com/directory/businesses/on-trail/campsinawaPost is under moderationStream item published successfully.
