A bit off-topic but Jess and I are picking up a new adventure bike like the one pictured. While we've been riding for ages, this will be our first adventure bike which is designed for overlanding.

We usually had cruisers, but being these bikes can run the same trails as the Jeep and 4Runner, and the fact that I can map new trails a LOT faster and without a ton of brushing, makes this thing a gem for aiding in getting trail routes up on this site.

Anyone else have adventure bikes? I'll be going out with Bryan Much at some point, he's the master of all this adventure bike business and runs the Wisconsin Off-Highway Motorcycle Association. http://www.wohma.com/

This is cool! I have been pondering the idea of getting one for about a year. Specifically a KLR650 but a friend has turned me on to Buells as well. I love that throaty sportster v twin lol. Also up at indian head i met a guy named Steve who i believe is involved with the resort some how and he told me his plans to add single tracks to the trails and even offered to let me take a KLR for a ride. Unfortunately we had to get going so i had to decline but the idea has me excited!

I work at a dealership and I do not personally own a adventure bike I have taken many of our demo ones from ktm to bmw to honda and they are very fun to ride.

I hope to have this at some rides as well. Will be interesting to see how it works on trails.
