We'll be mapping and confirming the Southern Wisconsin River Overlanding Tour on this trip. This will be the initial voyage that connects all mapped trails, gravel roads, and hillside wonders along the beautiful Wisconsin River.

The overlanding trip will start at the Bluffview Citgo station 7551 US-12, North Freedom, WI 53951 at 10am. Fuel up at 9:30am, sign the waivers, etc. so we can start the tour right at 10am.

This trip will take all day and will end at the Mississippi River off Sandy Road and Country A just south of Bagley, WI. Some of us are then staying at the Boulder Creek Campground bouldercreekcampground.com where you can rent a campsite, RV site, or stay in one of their cabins. The pool is open so we'll end the trip with a fire, camping, and Sunday relaxing before leaving at checkout on Sunday.

Jess, Link and I will be in Rustic Cabin #11. You do not need to stay at this location, some will head home that night, but for us that's too long of a drive for one day. This tour is designed to take a weekend at a relaxed pace going forward, so we'll be pointing out and adding waypoints as we see them.

This is the first time this trip will be done, many of the hilly roads are gravel and there are some level 2-4 trails we'll hit on the river. Some of the far western parts of this trip have yet to be driven!

You'll need a 2 Meter Ham radio on 146.460 or CB radio on channel 16 for this trip. Please also have a fire extinguisher and first aid kit, tow strap, and tow points!

We'll try and take breaks every hour or so for fuel and food but bring snacks and drinks in the event some remote areas do not have services in the hills.
