We're going to host a meeting to discuss starting a RL4WD chapter in the Madison / Sauk City area. We have landowners interested, trails to mark, and more riding areas to create. Being there are now dozens of RL4WD members in the area, it's time to talk about making their own chapter.

Ryan Harden from RL4WD will present and have materials available on how to register a club with the state, get a checking account, how to run meetings, etc. It's not as difficult or expensive as some would think.

Starting a chapter under RL4WD offers many benefits such as being part of the universal membership (fundraising split) and not having any membership processing costs. You'll also get your own section on the website, be in charge of your local trails and events, and have the availability to obtain affordable club landowner insurance.

After the meeting, we'll grab lunch and do a ride in the afternoon or maybe survey some areas we want to scout. Please bring a CB and/or 2-meter ham radio if you're going on the ride. Make sure your vehicle meets the rig checklist, print that off and sign those here - https://rl4wd.com/trails/waiver
