I will be set up on site 44 or whatever is closest to site 8A in the new camping section. I really want to stress we're working on trails here and it's not just a free joyride. You'll need to bring loppers, saws, be ready to brush trails, pick up trash, move things... etc.

    Bring garbage bags, gloves, etc.

I want to remove our signage from Oct. of last year, pick up the pins, pick up any remaining ribbon, survey depth of water spots, move some rock or plan to move things as needed to make trails more crawly. We may have equipment from the village out there to help in these efforts, but it may be possible to go out in teams and winch rocks to the trail or side of the trails. We must be very careful when moving things and each team will need an experienced person with then before attempting to move anything with a winch or tow rope. We want to make sure everyone is safe and not doing something your rig isn't made for.

Try and leave trees alone, do not cut down any trees unless they're broken and across the trails. We'll map what's left to map, and come up with a final plan for metal signs / double check the levels and such.

While the weather doesn't look awesome, we'll try and do fires at night and social hour. I'll do whatever I can to provide things needed or refuel equipment etc. as we can, but know with the VIP ride and all the stuff going on, I'm very overworked and may not be bringing as much as I usually do.

Again, to all of you... thank you so so much in helping us with building and maintaining. Elizabeth Reilly, if you have anything specific you want us to tackle, let us know here so we can prep. Otherwise, we'll do the above things mentioned.

But I'llRight now I have my full length soft top on with my back seat in because I wasn't sure how many people are going to ride with me on Friday. But I'll bring along my bulkhead and half top to convert my scrambler into a pickup (easy to do) for Saturday. I figure it would be handy to have a truck out there while we are doing trail clean up (moving brush, rocks, etc). Other than my saw, shovels, and clippers, is there anything else I should bring?  More ...

Liz at the Tigerton park needs help fixing and brushing some trails at Tigerton. I would like to move this work weekend to Tigerton over Sinawa. Allen Wohlfeil and the Trail Guide Ambassadors went up there last weekend and identified some things we should try and fix (and some we shouldn't).

Elizabeth Reilly said she can get some bigger equipment to the park for Saturday and Sunday so we can brush, saw, drag, etc. I'd like to try and get the stone off the side of the trail on the trails to make them slow speed crawling trails and start filling in the massive water areas along the perimeter trail. If we have any heavy equipment operators ( Louis Kelly / Dick Schmidt are you available?), maybe we look at helping operate the machines? Obviously, we can't have people without experience running these, but I think we have a fair amount of people in our group who do that for a living.

I may have the first set of signs done for this event so we can replace our temp signs from Oct. and get some very nice signs up there that have the levels, names, intersections etc. Those test signs were a big home run.

While much of the park is fairly well-kept, there are some areas we can fix and help maintain to keep building our relationships with the village, the rangers, and show we want to help make this the first true OHV park in Wisconsin!
