A nice scenic gravel trail with a little park. Closed at dark. Gates closed during winter for skiing. Just before the park there is a trail that goes along the outside edge of the property, this is not a public trail as confirmed by Manitowoc County, that's a private access trail for adjacent landowners.

Walla Hi park is located approximately 4 miles east of Kiel in southwestern Manitowoc County.  The park, consisting of 160 acres, was acquired in 1977.

The park features a scenic drive through the park along with several trails winding through the beautiful kettle moraine landscape.  One of the park’s most appealing characteristics is the great diversity of environments, varying from heavily wooded areas to large open expanses.  The park also contains several small springs flowing into crystal clear streams.

Fishing, hiking and picnicking are among the most popular activities in Walla Hi, with hiking trails also ideally suited for cross-country skiing during the winter months.  Walla Hi also offers equestrian trails for your enjoyment.

The small trail before you enter Walla Hi County Park, that Ryan pointed out in his review, turned out to be an excellent single vehicle trail, but I learned about it the wrong way...*

Memorial Day weekend , I decided to take a ride and try out one of rl4wd.com's KML files with an iOS app; the public KML I chose was Walla Hi Trail.
As I made my way into Walla Hi County Park, I drove past a trail just west of the Walla entrance, so as I left Walla Hi’s entrance/exit, I pulled over to take a peak at the little trail.
From the pavement, I could see that the trail went back a hundred yards; it looked firm; completely canopied, and the only posted sign was marked no ATVs, so I got out and walked around the entrance looked for downed signs, broken chains/barricades, etc., but there was nothing...so I sat at the trail's entrance for a about 1/2 hour, while I researched. I did keyword searches on rl4wd.com, looked through all the public and private trail sections, and did a very generic search on Google, but I didn’t find any mention of this trail.
The trail looked like it skirted the county park, and I didn't feel like I'd disrupt too much, so I crawled through as slow as the Jeep would go, and it didn't take long to see that this trail is definitely someone's slow speed circuit.
There were no torn-up areas, just gentle well manicured trail, single vehicle wide, with a few mud-holes, a fairly steep hillside with a hairpin turn near the top that sure seems like a Jeep's turning radius, and a really cool downed tree that my Wrangle easily fit under.
The loop that I took was a little over a mile, and it's canopied about 75% of the ride. There were at least two other trail branches that I didn't get to explorer.
I’ve attached a screenshot of my map's breadcrumbs, some pictures, and a couple videos that I took.

*I got a hold of Ryan and asked him about this trail and he politely pointed out that he mentioned it in his review. After rereading, I clearly see his comments...

Thanks for the review! I did also put that trail is private property in the main description now so you don't have to dig.

A nice little place to get out and take a walk through the woods. They do offer horse riding trails there as well.
