Boulder Bridge Trail features a natural rock bridge alongside the old wooden ATV bridge. Do NOT try and cross the wooden bridge, it can't take the weight of a RL4WD.

This trail also has some very tight tree areas which could be hard for 4 doors. A Boulder Bridge was put in to bypass the wooden bridge and it's not advised for stock or inexperienced drivers/vehicles as it was designed to be a bit harder at a level 6 rock size.

Over the last years it’s gotten easier and more challenging.  We’ve filled it in with more rock and bigger rock so it’s more crawling.

Our little group came from the opposite side of this trail than what most photos and videos show (I can't remember if this is something that changes from time to time, or what was decided on that day). As far as I can remember what I liked about the entirety of boulder bridge trail, had a fair amount of options to get around various obstacles. The rock bridge is about the only tough obstacle thing that I can remember that you were forced to take vs. boulder pass seemed to have less options due to it being tighter. I was following a group of people as a newbie and I was more focused on the actual obstacles than where we were exactly in the park, so feel free to correct me if someone feels I am wrong.

P.S- if you drive stick, don't accidentally dump your clutch over the rock bridge unless you like a bumpy ride and stress testing your vehicle components. Don't ask me why I know this haha.

This was my first rock crawl that I did in my Jeep.  Was my third opportunity to do a rock crawl in general, but this was nice, easy and a lot of fun to do. I also got one of my favorite pictures from this crawl. Directly after this obstacle, you can also climb a boulder, or do the bypass.  Cant wait to get back and do this one again.

Really fun crossing.   Great views.  Was the last trail we were on for the day. Can't wait to do it again.
