Sandy Bay Trail snakes between fields and forest and is located on the shores of Lake Michigan. A really relaxing trail you may want to take on your way up north.

Enjoy the views of wildlife, a small creek valley, the views lf Lake Michigan and Americas Heartland. While not much to crawl on this mainly, gravel road, there is a place to park on the lake side of the trail to take pictures and stretch.

The west entrance is blocked by plowed snow. The east side has one set of tracks going in about 20 yards.  Just the wife and I so we decided not to go it alone.

Not much more than a gravel road, but it's nice to hit this on the way to Door County. Awesome coming here at sunrise by the lake.
