Jeff Michels reacted to this post about 15 minutes agoThanks to everyone that made it out! All of you make our events successful. Fun catching up with old friends a little bit and meeting new friends. I believe the Annual inspection program will also be a great success.Post is under moderationStream item published successfully. Beginning March: need trail ambassadors to host last winter ride Camp Sinawa. Mid March to mid May off trails.
April: Annual meeting. stay off trails. Good time for meet and greet, meeting, or class. Maybe gravel roads, scenic routes, a little overlanding. Kettle Moraine?
May: end of May Tigerton opens tentatively.
Early June: Sinawa work day. Restore shack. Bring a 4x4 with your 4x4. Let’s get those posts in and signs done. This could even be end of May if conditions allow. Once work day is completed work with Sara to hold as many events as reasonably achievable with our chapter and others.
July: Big Snow event. Host local events for those not traveling north.
August: GNTR by WC4WD (we are all WC4WD members with our RL4WD membership).
September: continue to host rides at Sinawa.
October: Trail ride, work day, trunk or treat event.
November: small ride prior to hunting and holidays.
December: charity event and light rides.
These are just things I have seen or similar to what we did last year. I’m sure there will be even more. Should be a great year for events. Just need everyone’s help as usual making it all happen. Thanks to all of our volunteers and Trail Ambassadors that stay busy.Post is under moderationStream item published successfully. Item will now be visible on your stream. -

One event at Camp Sinawa beginning of the month for new Trail Ambassadors. I’d like to see a chapter event there as well if we could get 4 Ambassadors to host 20 rigs. Let’s make 2021 a year to remember. Will be a long cold winter without trail rides. When chapter started we were asked to host at least one ride a month. Cabins are heated and open year round.More

Thanks to our members that helped create the logo. We will always have decals available for new members as this grows. Thanks to Image 360/ Crown Trophy for the final design and making our hats locally here in Oshkosh. Thanks to everyone who has ordered hats and got our name out there by putting it right on your forehead. I’m proud of what we are doing by making and maintaining trails while introducing new people to our sport. Future hat orders will be only twice a year or every dozen. Grey/black topo in spring so let me know if you want one and you can PayPal me or pay cash at event. Carhartt Sandstone beanies in fall. We don’t make money on these items but I love having a great logo and our name out there. Other merchandise is available right in the RL4wd “shop” section of website.More
It’s time to concentrate on winter rides, a spring work day, and summer will be here before we know it. Also brainstorming meet and greet locations such as Mineshaft in Oshkosh where I think it would be fun to go eat, play some games, and have meetings, although I haven’t reached out to them yet. Other ideas are welcome. In just a few months we are going to have to stay off the trails as they thaw and we need some fun stuff to do. Get people involved and get out as much as we can, as soon as we can.-
