End of Year 2019 VLOG Update
We've had an incredible year of wheeling in 2019. Lots of awesome things are coming together for 2020! Join us at our events and meetings coming up and be part of helping us expand trails, do more rides, and keep trails open!
Wisconsin Updates RL4WDA
We've had a great 2019 season with lots of events, rides and trails opened. We're about to top 700 members on rl4wd.com, we have over 1,000 in our WI Facebook group, and almost 40 trained Trail Ambassadors to date.
New Chapter: South Central WI Overlanders formed in Mazomanie WI - https://rl4wd.com/scwioverlanders 2 additional chapters are looking to start in both Oshkosh and Platteville WI. RL4WDA has sent out a helpful chapter starting books to aid in their formation. Chapters are all being led by certified Trail Ambassadors. This chapter is also building a new 200+ acre private trail location for training and private rides. This is in addition to the 1 additional private riding location they already use.
The first Public OHV park is being announced in 2020 and includes RL4WDs. This will be showcased at the April combined annual meeting.
Southern Wisconsin Overlanding Tour (SWOT) will be listed in the directory via legs. Right now, we have the SEWI leg that extends from Horicon Marsh to Washington Island and the Wisconsin River Leg which extends from the Mississippi to beyond Sauk City along the Wisconsin River. Overlanding tours combine many different types of trails and roads. Our directory will feature these new tours on the Overlanding tab which is being developed for 2020.
The First CrawlerFest will be held June 26th - 28th https://rl4wd.com/CrawlerFestThe first Midwest Overlanding Expo in Wisconsin will be held Labor Day weekend in SEWI - https://rl4wd.com/overlanding
The RL4WDA will also be assisting with events and trails in MI and will be attending shows such as Jeep Beach in Florida and The Great Smokey Mountain event in TN to try and get the word out about the events in WI and Upper Midwest.
