Main class is on Saturday but those part of the class we'll have a ride for the weekend with camping and cabins (no dorm, scouts have it that weekend).
The morning class will start at 9am sharp for the Trail Ambassador training hosted by Adam & Randy Harden
Then we break for lunch on site
After lunch, we'll begin our Trail Guide training class which goes through everything from lines and recovery to how to submit your own events and make your own trail guide page on rl4wd.com.
Cost will be ~$40 for the class and background check. We'll also have vests and such you can buy as part of pre-reg if we have enough people RSVP.
After the classes, we'll take our new knowledge and roleplay out on the trail with what we've learned.
The course will include a SOG (Standard Operating Guideline) book and review material.
We are the first Wisconsin Division 2 (RL4WD) class!
If you are a current firefighter, military, or law enforcement, you will likely qualify for Division 2 Responder status as our Trail Ambassador program is (Adam fill in the stuff here)
We are not charging an event fee for this training session.
I'll have the lodging pre-reg up after the Jan event.
Snowapalooza! Join us for winter trail riding at the park. Winter camping will be available. Hotels and Motels available (no room blocks yet). Details coming soon!
March 8th - 10th Weekend ride and trail building. Friday night ride, then fire and drinks in the lodge along with some games and such. Saturday we'll split into teams and do some riding and trail building, elders and volunteers will be finishing the two trails as best as possible.

Link to class sign up - This is a day ride for new members who don't have a lot of experience trail riding yet. This class will go through the basics of equipment, trail riding, obstacles and a bunch more! This is a day-only event and for new folks with stock or lifted vehicles. The class will include a welcome packet, gifts, stickers, a class handbook, and a completion certificate. You'll also get the class badge on your profile at rl4wd.com. Lunch will be around noon where we'll eat at a local restaurant (optional). This event is being held on the west side of camp only. Bring warm clothing and boots as we'll be outside and doing demos throughout the day. Bathrooms are on site. If you are experienced, please do not sign up for this class. If you wish to do private one-on-one classes over a group class, contact Ryan Harden to arrange a date and time.
Trail Ambassador training classes and ride. This is a weekend-long training session for those wanting to be RL4WD Trail Guide Ambassadors. Details coming soon.
Tori to add details here
The VIP Ride is designed to show local officials, tourism, DNR and legislators about RL4WDs, slow speed trails and how to set up parks like Camp Sinawa. For this ride we'll be taking VIPs around the trails, explaining how we operate and what we plan on doing in the future. Together, we can create a positive future for RL4WD in Wisconsin. We'll need as many Jeeps and such as possible to take people around. We'll have information about the ride and the camp set up in the lodge. Keep in mind, this is a Friday and it starts early. We need Jeeps to showcase, this is a very important event as we begin to talk about a real public RL4WD program for Wisconsin. We'll try to provide a lunch for the VIPs, Trail Guide Ambassadors, and such and this will open our weekend ride event for members Friday night - Sunday. At lunch, we'll be providing an award to the camp, recognition to any officials within the government who've worked for us and have some floor time for tourism and politicians to talk. The idea here is we'll begin an open dialog on getting programs like ours, but public and open in other areas of the state. Together, we can keep building RL4WD slow speed trails in Wisconsin! The details are still forming, but we'll need as many vehicles as we can to be sure we have enough room to take VIPs and their staff around the trails. We'll set up an FM broadcast so all our radios can be explaining our program as they ride the trails. This way, drivers do not need to know much besides their personal experiences to add. We'll also see if we can get some demo units from the manufacturers and dealers to promote this very important event. It's crucial that the VIPs are able to drive some vehicles if they need to.
Tickets at - Join us for a fun-filled weekend of riding the trails of Camp Sinawa! We'll begin with a night ride Friday night (optional) then some socializing in the lodge or around the fire. Saturday we ride all day with gates opening at 10am. Sunday we finish the riding in the morning and then we pack and clean the camp and vehicles. Details coming soon.
