Cool trail, the rock has a bit of pucker factor to it but really a fun spot.
Lots of lines to test you and your rigs capabilities
Great rock at a great place. We had so much fun both times we were there!

So the state now has a stupid mask mandate starting Saturday so there's that to deal with. Doesn't change the event, we're still on.

I, as well as just about every Sheriff's office I've seen, feels this mandate is unconstitutional and we will NOT be enforcing any action. If you are coming to this event, practice social distancing at your discretion, but I as well as others will NOT be wearing masks. Know, you can shake my hand, look me in the eye, etc. I'm not afraid.   More ...

Please be sure to be on time. We want to start riding at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday which means everybody needs to focus on trying to be there by 9:00 a.m. We close the gates once we depart and it is very hard to accommodate people who are late because we do not have the volunteers to redo the meeting and signups. Some people start meeting in the parking lot after 8:00 That's totally fine if you want to extend your social hour further.

Please be sure to bring over the ankle footwear. While we have had a great week with little rain, it poured buckets days before and the water table is as high as it's ever been in the last 38 years. Are the trails muddy? Not really. Are there some wet areas? Yes of course. We have taken many hours to try and brush and prepare the trails for this ride. Ankle protection is extremely important especially when you are getting out of your vehicle to take pictures on uneven ground. Do not wear sandals.

Bring bug spray and therma cells, those things work marvelous especially if you are riding without tops and doors on. Most of the areas we are in are fully wooded but sunscreen is still a good idea. The camp does have beachfront access so get with ranger Sara on particulars pertaining to boat rentals life vests and all that. Friday during the day is a good time to do that or Sunday morning. While our focus is riding, we understand people bring their families and rent cabins and make this a vacation.

We're here to show you how to ride safe on trails. We will not force you to do any obstacle you do not feel comfortable with, even if your rig is capable of it, you must understand until you are ready, it's best to avoid things you're uncomfortable with. Our trail ambassadors will guide you and spot you but ultimately you are in control.

Please print out and sign the waivers and rig checklist in color if you can and prefill this stuff out. It makes checking go way faster. When we get to the parking lot, we usually prepare our rigs by getting tow straps ready, putting our d-rings on, turning our radios on, airing down the tires, etc. We do have an air fill station on site and you will need to air your tires back up before you leave. There is a car wash just up the road in Valders so if you get into some heavy mud, we advise washing your brakes out before traveling long distances. We used to have the power washer on site, but there was no place for the mud to go.

This is going to be a great weekend with great weather and temperatures. We are all excited to have you!

Only 14 people have paid for this ride it looks like. That's a really nice sized group for a beginners class, not too many rigs.
